It seems every week since the beginning of November, I can’t help but notice how often a post or tweet shows up in my network with a child who has a seasonal baby name.
From the predictable Joy, Noel and Holly to Rudy, Nickolas and Kris, I thought it would be fun to list some of the common, and not-so-common seasonal baby names. For those expecting a winter bundle of joy, take special note!

A bit of caution, however. The name you choose can have dramatic effects on a child, some not so good. While altering the spelling, for example, going from Susan to Sousan, I can guarantee more than once, the child will be asked if that is REALLY how they spell their name. Same with the Gennifer’s, Khrystal’s, and Airaca’s of the world. It has been shown to actually undermine a child’s self esteem.
